Maggotty High School Striving for Excellence Through Hard Work

Maggotty High School is located at the western end of the Nassau Valley and at the foot of the Cockpit Country in the parish of St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. The school was first opened in 1971 as Maggotty Junior Secondary School until 1974. The school was upgraded to Maggotty Secondary School in 1974 and in September 1988 was upgraded to Maggotty High. The students of Maggotty High has excelled in academics, sports and culture. Maggotty High can be considered as the "Beacon Beneath the Hills".
